Chairman of the Russian-Turkish Business Council Akhmet Palankoev, during his stay at the Global Tourism Forum (GTF), gave interviews to a number of Turkish and foreign media.  In his interviews, the chairman of the Russian-Turkish business council shared his opinion that tourism plays a significant role in strengthening Russian-Turkish relations.  Russian citizens are happy to have a rest in Turkey. Judging by the constantly increasing flow of people wishing to go on vacation to Turkey, of course, taking into account the coefficient of "forced restrictions", Russian citizens like to having a rest in Turkey and this is great!  In addition to traditional family and beach holidays, Turkey has a lot more to offer.  It is a large, industrially developed country.  Many people go there for business tourism, on business trips, find new partners there, and start new joint projects with Turkish businessmen. Both trade and more complex ones based on the exchange of modern technologies. It is also a country that contains an amazing number of historical monuments and shrines.  And of course this attracts lovers of cultural tourism.  And probably the most important thing is that Turkey is a neighboring country.  To be there, to understand the way of life, to get to know each other better means strengthening nice, good-neighborly relations
